Renewal of Vows Ceremonies

What is a Renewal of Vows Ceremony?

Sussex Wedding CeremonyMarried couples or civil partners can celebrate or renew their vows in a unique and personal ceremony that says just what the couple want it to.

A religious ceremony or a civil marriage or partnership are the legal expressions of your love but you can say "I do" in a ceremony especially created for your personal circumstances in a style that is unique to you.

Although it doesn't replace your legal formalities, it is designed to be a solution to help you celebrate with your friends if your legal marriage is taking place overseas, at the Register Office, or you may have a special wedding anniversary in mind. A ceremony created especially for you is appropriate at any stage of your marriage or partnership.

A non-religious wedding or partnership ceremony held after the formal ceremony can truly mark your life-long commitment to each other. One of the greatest joys of planning your ceremony is expressing the way you feel about each other in your own words and it can be at a place which is special to you.

How I can support you.

I can suggest a selection of phrases and paragraphs as inspiration for you to write your own words. We will meet before the ceremony to discuss ideas and prepare words especially tailored for you, creating a ceremony that expresses your thoughts and beliefs, memories, hopes and dreams.

You can be formal, or thoroughly informal, and invite friends and family to share in the ceremony. Your wedding will be a big event for them, so I will also suggest that you ask them what they might like to contribute such as a reading, making a speech, playing an instrument or taking part in a meaningful symbolic gesture.

I really love the role I play in what can be an amazing experience for the both of you, your special friends and family.
